Edward Morris

Skeeteer was born in Pasadena, California, in 1945. Reared in Mobile, Alabama. Graduated from the University of Alabama in 1967 with a B.A. in English. Completed graduate studies at the University of Georgia with major in Real Estate. Instructor in Department of Finance at the University of Georgia. Instructor in appraisal courses at University of South Alabama and Spring Hill College.

Real Estate Education and Experience
Edward N. Morris Jr. has engaged in appraisal business with Courtney and Morris Appraisals since 1973 with continuing education in real estate investment, taxation and appraisal. Mr. Morris’s appraisal experience includes work for a variety of corporate clients including many of the nation’s largest banks and insurance companies, and covers the entire spectrum of real estate from single lots to tracts in excess of 100,000 acres; commercial, industrial and resort properties including shopping centers, malls, manufacturing plants, golf courses, resort hotels, marinas, apartments, hospitals, resort condominiums, and large scale residential developments. In recent years, he has concentrated on condemnation issues involving roadways, gas and electrical transmission lines, railroad rights-of-way and the impact of adverse environmental conditions. Mr. Morris has testified as to the value of real property in probate court, circuit court and the District Court of Mobile, County, Alabama, U.S. Federal Court and the U.S. Federal Bankruptcy Court in the states of Alabama, Mississippi, Georgia and Florida.
