George began his real estate career in Atlanta, Georgia, working for Richard Bowers & Company, a commercial brokerage and management company. He has been involved in commercial real estate for the last 22 years. After returning to Lynchburg, Virginia, in 2002, he began working for Milton Realty Service Company where he was awarded the Certified Commercial Investment Member designation by the CCIM Institute. In 2006, Milton Realty Service Company merged with Hall & Associates to better serve clients in southwest and central Virginia. In 2009, George joined Cushman & Wakefield|Thalhimer as the firm continued expanding its presence across the Commonwealth of Virginia. George married Karen Stiegler from Mobile, Alabama, in 1990. After they became empty-nesters in 2022, they decided to move to Fairhope, Alabama. Once they arrived in Fairhope, George started working at Courtney & Morris focusing on commercial sales and leasing.
