Native of Bay Minette, Alabama. Attended Baldwin County High School and Bayside Academy. Graduated from Alabama Christian College with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, majoring in accounting.

Real Estate Experience:

Employed as a commercial real estate appraiser for more than 30 years. Appraisal experience includes multi-family housing (conventional, LIHTC, USDA-RD), assisted living facilities, condominium projects (residential and commercial), convenience stores, industrial facilities, medical facilities (office and out-patient surgical), special-purpose facilities (theaters, worship facilities, private schools, mortuary/funeral homes, cemeteries, etc.), business and professional offices, automobile dealerships and service facilities, restaurants, timberland tracts, agricultural properties, airports, “big-box” retail facilities, commercial strip centers, detached retail, motels, residential and commercial subdivisions, self-storage warehouse facilities, mobile & manufactured home parks, aircraft hangars, single-family residences, and eminent domain (condemnation). This appraisal experience has been in Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Tennessee and Virginia.

Attended and completed a number of courses and seminars concerning a wide range of various real estate concerns. These classes and seminars were sponsored by the Appraisal Institute, Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers, Alabama Highway Department, American Real Estate Institute, McKissock Data Services, and Alabama Bankers Association.
